It’s Friday, y’all. Which means it’s time for another thrilling edition of American(s) in Name Only, the end of the week award that “honors” those who work tirelessly to knock America off her perch as the leader of the civilized world.
We actually have two winners today. Xavier Becerra and Richard “Rachel” Levine. While their efforts were technically credited to the “Biden” administration, their department of the Swamp are the ones enjoying the fruits of their labor, as they’re the most likely culprits in this freak show.
Who Is Xavier Becerra?
Xavier Becerra, the current Health & Human Services Secretary, came our way courtesy of the same state that gave us Cackles Kamala. Used his law degree to meet and greet the right people and moved his way up the California political ladder. He spent 1993 to 2017 in the US House of Representatives. Lots of time spent on oversight and social security committees; he was also on the House Committee on Health, presumably earning that position because of his strong advocacy for the Democrats’ Holy Grail, enshrinement of abortion on demand. He would eventually return to California to serve as the state’s Attorney General. Becerra spent his time as AG fighting off those who disagreed with Planned Parenthood’s agenda.
No true medical background but good at being loyal to the Democratic agenda. So, it was only natural that he would end up running the federal department that oversees medical issues.
Who Is Richard “Rachel” Levine?
I have to say, when it comes to having friends in high places, Levine really has it going on. I thought I remembered his real first name, but I wanted to double check before writing today. It took several pages of going through search results before I managed to stumble across an article that wasn’t pretending that he is really named Richard and not “Rachel.” Very “Nineteen Eight Four”- vibes of erasing the past to make the present the “truth.”
Richard has been cosplaying as a woman since he switched his out-ie for an in-nie back in 2011. He served as Pennsylvania’s Secretary of Health from 2017 until he moved on up to the big time in DC back in 2021. When he was still in Pennsylvania and Covid hit, he wrote orders along the same line as NY Governor Andrew Cuomo, forcing nursing homes to take infected patients, but was never held accountable for those orders. Democrats always fail upwards. Oh, and just to solidify his role in Covid, he reportedly pulled his family members out of Pennsylvania nursing homes before the Wuhan flu could claim them as well.
Levine received Senate approval in 2021 to take on the role of Assistant Secretary of Health. Every Senate Republican voted against him, with the shocking (said no one ever) exception of Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska. Soon after taking office, in a slap to the face of everyone in the Navy who ever actually earned their rank, Biden named Levine a “four-star admiral” in the Public Health Service Commissioned Corps (whatever that is).
Oh, and he’s full steam ahead on getting as many kids transitioned to the opposite gender as possible.
Conform Or Be Cancelled
Ok. Imagine it’s a Friday afternoon. You’re at work, and an email comes out addressed to everyone who works there. This email informs you that effective Monday morning, all employees, regardless of their actual DNA structure, will be addressed by others by their preferred pronouns. Failure to do so will lead to disciplinary actions, including termination.
How would you respond to that? Because that’s what the employees at the US Department of Health and Human Services now have to deal with. Below are excerpts from HHS’ notification to its employees:
"All employees should be addressed by the names and pronouns they use to describe themselves."
"All applicants and employees should be addressed by the names and pronouns they use to describe themselves. Using correct names and pronouns helps foster workplaces free of discrimination and harassment."
"This practice also creates an inclusive work environment where all applicants and employees are treated with dignity. The isolated and inadvertent use of an incorrect name or pronoun will generally not constitute unlawful harassment, but, as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) has explained, continued intentional use of an incorrect name or pronoun (or both) could, in certain circumstances, contribute to an unlawful hostile work environment."
So, let’s pick this apart, shall we?
Let’s say that one day, “Glen” suddenly wakes up and decides he’s now going to be “Glenda.” He hasn’t had any surgery, he still has all his original plumbing but he’s going to strap things down, push other things up, and show up to the office in a dress and heels. “Glenda” feels the call of nature and makes use of the women’s restroom. Several other actual women are inside already, and “Glenda” hikes “his” dress up in front of them, gifting them with the sight of what God gave him. Now, how does that not constitute a hostile work environment, the very thing HHS is so worried about? Oh, that’s right, it doesn’t, because “Glenda” is the real victim here. Those actual women in the restroom are the problem because they take offense at “Glenda” living his truth. They better refer to “Glen” as she/her, or else.
What about people of faith or actual scientific individuals who refuse to accept that someone can just change their gender on a whim? I guess they’re the oppressors in this scenario, too.
Roger Severino, who currently serves as the Heritage Foundation’s vice president for domestic policy and is the former head of civil rights at HHS during the Trump administration, really summed up the issue well, when he first reported it on Heritage’s Twitter account:
HHS has "imposed a transgender pronoun mandate on its employees who will now be forced to deny biological realities with their own words or face firing."
"Men who identify as female have the right to get naked in front of female colleagues in the locker room. It used to be that if you allowed a man to get naked in front of a woman in the workplace that is instantly a violation of civil rights law. That's the quintessential hostile work environment, subjecting women to that. Now, the policy says to the women who may be uncomfortable with that situation, they're the ones who have to leave."
On a side note, where are all the feminists who fought for so many years for women’s rights, to make sure women had their own spaces, their own sports? Why have they gone silent as biological men are putting biological women in uncomfortable situations or taking opportunities away from them? Could it be that they weren’t really in it for women like they claimed, and were just in it for their own personal glory and enrichment?
It’s of little comfort that a federal agency, tasked with illness in all its forms, including mental illness, is actually pushing policies that indulge and encourage mental illness, and expecting everyone else to get on board, or else. Is it any wonder that our foreign enemies no longer fear us when this is the kind of stuff our government is focused on?
So, as Xavier and The World’s Ugliest Woman come down to get their awards, let’s give them a big show of appreciation for everything they’re doing for the betterment of our nation.
