Did Garland Accidentally Light The Fuse?
Well, like the snakes that they are, the KGB FBI have run home with some very vital personal correspondence, as well as some classified napkins with double-secret-level national intelligence info scribbled on them (insert eye roll). Unsurprisingly, there hasn’t been a peep out of Minister of Justice Garland or KGB FBI Director Wray regarding their justification over raiding President Trump’s private residence over an issue of documents that Trump was already working with to transfer to the National Archives (or at least, that’s their cover story for this BS).
This whole thing is wrong on so many levels. But after watching the tepid reactions from members of the GOP to Monday’s events, it makes me wonder what kind of outrageous, norm-shattering event has to occur to anger them enough to make them get in the game.
Here’s some examples:
Wyoming Republican Senator John Barrasso: “Raiding a former president’s home is unprecedented. The Justice Department needs to quickly and transparently tell the American people who approved this raid and why it occurred.” You mean the bureaucratic Justice Department that spent four years trying to carry out a blatant coup against the duly elected President, and continues to harass his supporters? That Justice Department, Senator?
South Carolina Republican Senator Tim Scott: “There’s been lots of questions before this raid about whether or not the FBI is doing their job apolitical and we don’t know the answer to that question yet. The raid is going to raise more questions, in my opinion. We need to let this play out and see exactly what happens.” Let us know how letting things “play out” works out for you, Senator.
Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, after refusing to demand answers from Garland and Wray, offered up this mealy-mouthed bile: “The country deserves a thorough and immediate explanation of what led to the events of Monday. Attorney General Garland and the Department of Justice should already have provided answers to the American people and must do so immediately.” A true leader if I ever saw one. One question, Mitch. What are you going to do to get those answers the American people deserve? Send another strongly worded letter to the Ministry of Justice and hope they reply before the next presidential election?
WAKE UP!
Seriously, what is it going to take to make Congressional GOP leaders realize that the days of bipartisanship, of putting country before party, are over? News Flash: Those days started dying off back in the late 1980s over the Iran-Contra scandal involving the Reagan Administration. Ever since, it’s been one long string of tit-for-tat between opposing political parties when the guy from the other side is occupying the White House but doesn’t have majorities in Congress to quell fishing expeditions of wrongdoing. You would think, considering how long some members of the GOP have been in Congress that they would have figured this out. Yet, ever since “Biden” “won” the election, GOP leaders have been acting like weaklings, cowering before their Democrat bullies. They’re probably having flashbacks of getting robbed of their lunch money in elementary school (and maybe law school, too).
The KGB FBI Just Gave Trump His Campaign Platform
I’ve read numerous conservative columnists who’ve advised President Trump that, if he wants the best possible shot at reelection in 2024, he needs to stop trying to relitigate the 2020 election. I get it, he was cheated out of his rightful victory (and we were cheated out of a thriving economy). He has every right to feel angry and wronged. I will say this, and feel free to disagree with me: Trump needs to move on. He’s not going to be able to undo the results of the 2020 election because there have been too many state and federal courts that have shot down his appeals or refused to even consider them. But the problems that we need Trump for, the issues that he needs to address, go far beyond court-level issues.
He needs to finish draining the Swamp, and when he’s done draining it, burn it to the ground. The Ministry of Justice and the Obama retreads just gave Trump the greatest gift any politician could ask for: A rallying event. At transformational moments in a nation’s history, events that are bigger than any one man occur that serve to rally the citizens to a cause. Think the American Revolution. Think the firing on Fort Sumter. The bombing of Pearl Harbor. 9/11. The American people have a long history of knowing when they’re being wronged, and standing up and doing something about it.
Americans over the last two years have watched their cities being burned to the ground by “peaceful protesters” that were rarely prosecuted, concerned parents wanting to know what their children were being taught in school and being labeled as domestic terrorists for daring to ask, families who’ve watched their incomes and savings dry up as prices skyrocket while being stuck with a government that is committed to making the situation worse due to their devotion to Green Energy and the New World Order, and last but not least, a former president having his home raided and ransacked like he’s some drug lord while all of the Clinton, Obama and Biden cronies continue to walk between the raindrops.
That’s Trump’s rallying cry for 2024. He crafted a country that helped more American workers than any President has in recent memory. He kept more young Americans from being sent to fight and die in foreign wars than anyone in decades. And now, he can take that anger over his home being raided, and channel it into the anger of so many Americans who are sick and tired of unequal treatment at the hands of every level of government. He can ride that righteous anger of the citizenry right back into the White House.
And a word to the wise in the GOP establishment: You guys better figure out what world the rest of us are living in and get on board with our anger, or you might be on your way out of office too, courtesy of the Trump Wave.
MAGA!
